Lead and support IFS ERP implementations in the Finance area, from requirements gathering to go‑live and post‑implementation support;
Analyse financial and accounting processes and translate business requirements into IFS functional designs and configuration specifications;
Configure and maintain IFS modules related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Bank Reconciliation, Tax and Financial Reporting;
Design chart of accounts, financial dimensions, posting rules, costing and period close processes within IFS;
Define and implement financial controls, approval workflows and segregation of duties in the system to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements;
Collaborate with technical developers to specify integrations, interfaces and data migration approaches (including REST/SOAP APIs), ensuring data integrity and performance;
Develop test scenarios, execute functional testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage issue resolution during implementation;
Support data migration activities: mapping, cleansing, validation and loading of master data and transactional financial data into IFS;
Prepare and deliver training, user documentation and run workshops to enable business adoption of financial processes and tools in IFS;
Act as liaison between finance stakeholders, project managers and technical teams to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met;
Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solution enhancements leveraging IFS capabilities and industry best practices;
Support cutover planning, period‑end readiness checks and post‑go‑live hypercare activities for finance processes;
Ensure compliance with security, data protection (GDPR) and corporate governance requirements in all implementation activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field;
Proven experience in IFS ERP implementations with a focus on Finance and Accounting modules;
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, statutory reporting, tax rules and period‑end processes;
Hands‑on experience configuring IFS components for General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and financial reporting;
Experience with financial data migration, integration patterns (REST/SOAP, APIs) and working alongside developers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions;
Ability to produce functional specifications, test scripts, reconciliations and user guides;
Strong analytical skills, problem solving orientation and attention to detail;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to run workshops and train users at different levels of the organisation;
Experience in project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and working within multi‑disciplinary and international teams;
Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish is an advantage;
IFS certification or formal training in relevant IFS finance modules is a plus;
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
