About Us
Clarity International School is a growing international school in Oeiras, Portugal, serving children in a warm, multicultural, and child-centered environment. We believe that healthy, delicious food is an essential part of education and children's well-being.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate School Cook / Chef to join our team and help create nutritious meals for approximately 60 children and 15 staff members each day.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve:
- Breakfast
- Morning fruit snack
- Lunch (soup, main course, vegetables/salad, and beverage)
- Afternoon snack (snack time)
Responsibilities:
- Plan balanced and healthy weekly menus
- Prepare meals that meet high standards of nutrition, taste, and presentation
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
- Manage food storage and inventory
- Coordinate food purchasing when required
- Introduce children to diverse cuisines and flavors from around the world
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a cook or chef (required)
- Experience preparing healthy, nutritious meals
- Strong understanding of balanced nutrition for children
- Passion for healthy and delicious food
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Reliability, organization, and attention to detail

Working Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 14:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 (including preparation of lunch for Saturday school activities)
