Job Overview:
The Sales & CM Controller / PAM Support role serves as a key business partner to Commercial, Product Management, Asset Management, and Finance teams by providing analytical support, performance reporting, pricing analysis, and financial insights. This position is responsible for monitoring sales and contribution margin performance, maintaining and enhancing commercial dashboards and BW reporting tools, performing Volume Price Analysis (VPA), and partnering with Product and Asset Management (PAM) on pricing, profitability, and portfolio optimization initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and report sales, volume, pricing, and contribution margin performance across products, customers, regions, and business segments;
- Maintain, and enhance Sales and CM dashboards utilizing SAP BW and other business intelligence tools;
- Provide regular performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights;
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting sales growth and profitability;
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of commercial performance metrics and reporting;
- Serve as a key user and subject matter expert for BW reporting, Sales and CM dashboards, and commercial analytics tools;
- Partner with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and implement dashboard enhancements;
- Improve reporting efficiency through automation and standardization of analytical processes;
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and governance activities to ensure reliable business reporting;
- Lead and support Volume Price Analysis (VPA) activities to identify drivers of sales and margin performance;
- Analyze the impact of volume, price, mix, and foreign exchange movements on revenue and contribution margin;
- Prepare monthly VPA reporting packages and present key business insights to leadership teams;
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Asset Managers to support portfolio management and profitability optimization initiatives;
- Assist in evaluating pricing opportunities, margin enhancement initiatives, and product mix optimization;
- Analyze product, customer, and market profitability to identify opportunities for value creation and margin improvement;
- Contribute to portfolio reviews and strategic planning activities.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field;
- 5–7 years of experience in financial controlling, commercial finance, business analytics, product management support, or related functions;
- Experience supporting commercial organizations, product management teams, and profitability improvement initiatives;
- Strong experience with sales analysis, contribution margin reporting, pricing analytics, and Volume Price Analysis (VPA);
- Strong proficiency in SAP BW and commercial reporting systems;
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities;
- Experience with dashboard development and business intelligence tools;
- Knowledge of pricing analytics, contribution margin analysis, and profitability management;

You will get:
- The portuguese annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €40,560 to €50,700. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also include bonus and/or other incentives;
