Now, we’re looking for an IoT Backend Developer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain server-side services enabling real-time communication and device management within the IoT ecosystem
- Design and deploy backend infrastructures for prototypes, runnable on local, on-premises, or cloud environments
- Design and implement signaling mechanisms to establish, manage, and terminate P2P video/audio communication between devices and mobile/web applications
- Support customers during setup and deployment phases, including configuration of customer-specific workflows
- Containerize backend services using Docker, ensuring portability, repeatability, and simplified deployments
- Deploy and operate platform-agnostic real-time communication backends, including Cloud-to-Cloud (C2C) integration logic
- Build secure services to manage firmware metadata and OTA update orchestration across device fleets
- Continuously evaluate and improve the solution by exploring alternative IoT platforms, architectures, and security enhancements
- Collaborate closely with Embedded and Mobile teams to design and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Own the secure device onboarding workflow, including certificate/token generation and factory-to-cloud bulk provisioning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, telecommunications, or a related field
- Strong experience with backend development using one or more of the following: Node.js, Go, Python, Java, or PHP
- Hands-on experience in containerizing applications and orchestrating multi-service environments
- Experience installing, configuring, and customizing IoT platforms and backend frameworks
- Experience with Cloud-to-Cloud integrations, including REST APIs, Webhooks, and third-party SaaS connectors
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for high-concurrency and event-driven systems
- Deep knowledge of IoT and real-time protocols such as MQTT, WebSockets, and HTTP/2
- Strong background in backend security, including TLS/SSL, certificate-based authentication, and OAuth2/JWT
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines for building reliable and scalable backend services
- Strong analytical mindset, good communication skills, and a proactive learning attitude
- Proficiency in English
