We are looking for a
Settlement Officer (Recent Graduate in Business Administration/Finance/or a related field)
MAIN TASKS
- Monitor newly executed trades on a daily basis and update their status in internal systems.
- Coordinate the settlement of structured high-yield syndicated loan transactions on both primary and secondary markets.
- Collect and review investor onboarding documentation and ensure all records are properly maintained.
- Review legal trade documentation and contracts, ensuring all settlement requirements are met.
- Propose and coordinate settlement dates with internal and external counterparties.
- Process trades within internal systems and liaise with back-office teams to ensure timely payment settlement.
- Monitor settlement progress and proactively resolve any operational issues.
- Manage queries from clients, counterparties, agents, legal teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of transaction data throughout the settlement lifecycle.
- Escalate risks, delays, or discrepancies when necessary and contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain high standards of operational excellence, client service, and regulatory compliance.
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Banking, Law, or a related field.
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience in Banking Operations, Loan Administration, Middle Office, Back Office, Settlements, Securities Operations, or a similar environment.
- Strong interest in Financial Markets, Loan Operations, Syndicated Loans, and Banking activities.
- Understanding of structured and syndicated loan products is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of interest calculations and financial transaction processing.
- Ability to understand and review legal documentation related to syndicated loans and loan trading activities.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Client-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and collaborative approach.
- Agile, adaptable, and open to working in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and ensure timely resolution.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.

This role offers a gross annual salary between 16.800€ and 35.000€, defined according to the candidate’s experience and competencies.
