We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Drafter / 3D Modeler with a background in civil engineering or architecture. The ideal candidate will prepare technical drawings and 3D models of steel structures, perform model verification, assist with quantity take-offs, and develop structural rebar mesh models. ensuring accuracy and clarity to support design, fabrication, and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical 2D drawings and 3D models of steel structures using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, Advance Steel, or Rhino.
- Perform basic model verification and quality checks, including SQM model review.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure models and drawings meet project requirements.
- Assist in preparing visualizations or presentations for project coordination and client communication.
- Develop structural rebar mesh models in Rhino according to design specifications.
- Create visualizations and renderings in Blender to support project presentations.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office tools
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
- Experience in creating 2D technical drawings and 3D structural models for steel structures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Blender, Rhino and/or Revit / Tekla / Advance Steel.
- Strong understanding of structural detailing and construction principles.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate, and usable technical documentation.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
