Derivatives Confirmations Analyst will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate Confirmations of Derivatives trades. Analyst will work as part of our US Derivatives Confirmations team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment where the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while experiencing short-term interruptions is highly valued. The individual will work collaboratively with colleagues in US/APAC/EMEA. The primary responsibility of a user will be supporting our US trading desk by problem solving and troubleshooting trade related issues.

Functional Responsibilities

Confirmation of Derivative trades by executing Trade Confirmation document exchanged via Industry platform (e,g, MarkitServ)

Confirmation of CDS trades on electronic platform by liaising with counterparties and MO to resolve the encountered breaks

Co-ordinating with CPs, legal teams, traders, and compliance departments for confirmation negotiation and execution.

Ensuring all Derivative confirmations complies with regulatory and internal policy requirements

Maintaining accurate records of executed agreements and tracking outstanding confirmations.

Identifying and resolving confirmation discrepancies or legal issues by coordinating with FO/MO.

Monitoring confirmation deadlines and ensuring effective use of escalation process for timely confirmation of trades and exchange of executed confirmations

Regulatory & Compliance Reporting Ensure reconciliation processes comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., CSDR, SEC, MiFID II, Basel III).

Supporting trade life cycle processes related to derivative transactions.

Drafting, reviewing and managing the derivative agreements like ISDA Master Agreements, CSA & GMRA related confirmations.

Provide support to Front Office and Middle office with daily issues, which may include troubleshooting problems arising on an ad-hoc basis or reacting to market driven demands such as prioritizing fails.

Identifying operational risks proactively and mitigating appropriately.

Ensure process documentation is relevant and updated regularly as per the audit standards

Ensuring Daily/Weekly/Monthly reporting for management
KEY SKILL AREAS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Investment operations (Derivatives)

Good knowledge of various Derivative products and Trade life cycle
