Head of Global People Operations

As Head of Global People Operations, you will lead our global People Operations function and play a key role in shaping a scalable, business-focused and high-performing People organisation.

Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you will lead a team of approximately nine People Operations professionals supporting employees and managers across our international locations.

We are looking for a commercially minded leader who enjoys building scalable organisations, leading through change and developing exceptional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop an international People Operations team of approximately nine HR professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative and accountable culture.
Build organisational capability by developing your team, strengthening functional expertise and creating clear development opportunities.
Own the operational performance of the global People Operations function, ensuring consistent, efficient and high-quality support across all supported regions.
Set priorities, allocate resources and ensure the effective delivery of People Operations across the full employee lifecycle, including HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Employment Law and Payroll.
Partner closely with senior business leaders.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex employee relations, organisational and employment law matters, balancing commercial decisions with sound judgement and people-focused leadership.
Drive the continuous improvement, simplification and standardisation of global People processes, policies and operating models to support future business growth.
Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and company policies across all supported countries while partnering with external legal counsel where required.
Develop and monitor People KPIs and operational metrics to identify trends, improve decision-making and continuously enhance the employee and manager experience.
Lead organisational change initiatives, restructurings and post-acquisition integration activities from a People perspective.
Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Finance, and other key stakeholders to deliver a seamless and consistent People experience.
Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the global People function.

What You Bring

Several years of leadership experience within an international HR or People Operations environment.
Proven experience leading and developing high-performing HR or People Operations teams.
Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations and HR operations across multiple countries.
Experience supporting international payroll processes within a global organisation.
Experience supporting HR operations in the United States is highly desirable.
Strong business acumen combined with excellent judgement and a pragmatic approach to solving complex people challenges.
Experience leading organisational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
A data-driven mindset with experience using People metrics and insights to improve operational performance.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with executives and senior business leaders.
A collaborative and hands-on leadership style.
Outstanding communication skills in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
