Drive automation across provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and recovery processes, ensuring repeatable, tested, and reliable DR capabilities across cloud environments.
Ensure backups and DR policies, runbooks, and automation meet resilience requirements and are regularly tested and validated.
Promote Git‑based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and policy‑as‑code.
Technical Debt & Modernization:
Own and prioritize the technical debt and modernization backlog for Cloud Operations platforms.
Proactively reduce operational risk, manual work, and single points of failure.
Partner with Cloud Architecture and Security to evolve platforms in line with target state.
Coaching & Capability Development:
Mentor Cloud Operations engineers, raising overall technical maturity and engineering discipline.
Contribute to skills frameworks, career paths, and technical onboarding content.
Act as a role model for ownership, quality, and continuous improvement.
Authority / Decision Rights:
Approve or reject technical designs and implementation approaches.
Enforce engineering standards, architectural guardrails, and technical best practices.
Recommend technology choices, tools, and platform improvements.
Escalate unmanaged technical risk to CloudOps Lead and Infrastructure leadership.
