The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years. Our projects span from small hydro, wind, and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green hydrogen and green ammonia.
With offices in the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Canada and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. Currently, we are recruiting for an Environmental Engineer to join ourPorto Office. The role will support a range of ongoing developments across Europe and North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify suitable land parcels for renewable energy developments throughout Portugal.
- Build relationships with landowners, municipalities, and local stakeholders.
- Conduct initial site assessments and coordinate land due diligence activities.
- Negotiate land lease agreements, easements, and purchase contracts.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective sites and manage acquisition activities from first contact through contract execution.
- Collaborate with development, environmental, legal, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Experience in land acquisition, real estate, property development, renewable energy, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of the Portuguese land and property market.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent Portuguese and professional English.
- Willingness to travel throughout Portugal.
