SilicoLife is a biotechnology company that harnesses the power of computational biology to sustainably produce valuable compounds through fermentation. Our proprietary technologies and expertise have been utilized by top companies in various industries for over a decade, as well as in research and development projects.
Recently, we received a Series A investment of 9.8 million euros, which is driving us towards becoming a product-focused company. This shift allows our company to exclusively focus our technology and knowledge in the creation of internal intellectual property, delivering high-value products to the high-growth supplements market.
Be part of this extraordinary journey and join us in our quest.
As a Project & Innovation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of strategic R&D management and technology evaluation.
You will work in close cooperation with our Director of Innovation to whom you will report directly.
Your main focus will be high-level support in managing and coordinating our portfolio of co-funded national and European projects—such as PureBio (COMPETE 2030) and ORIGIN (Horizon Europe)—ensuring their execution, compliance, and successful reporting.
In parallel, on the IP side, your focus will be on managing our IP portfolio, capturing internal innovations, and coordinating with external patent attorneys.
Crucially, you will be a pivotal user and co-designer of SilicoLife’s proprietary, AI-enabled software tools currently under development. You will help shape and test these internal applications—designed for attorney communication monitoring, invention disclosure processing, and AI-assisted FTO analysis—ensuring they align with our strategic IP and R&D workflows.
This is a versatile, hybrid role tailored for an organized professional with a strong understanding of both public funding mechanisms and intellectual property frameworks, looking to help drive cutting-edge biotechnology from concept to market validation.

-
Attorney & Consortium Liaison: Serve as the direct operational link between SilicoLife and external patent attorneys, managing and monitoring communications (integrated through our proprietary app).
-
Innovation Harvesting: Proactively identify patentable discoveries within our scientific pipelines and support the research teams in draft preparation and filing of Invention Disclosure Forms (using our integrated digital workflows).
-
Targeted FTO Support: Occasionally perform focused Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses on key assets using our developing, AI-assisted internal platform.
-
Funding Strategy: Identify and monitor new strategic funding opportunities and assist in the drafting and preparation of new grant proposals.
