As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the on‑site supervision of mechanical works during projects and shutdowns within refinery or petrochemical environments. This role is highly operational and site‑focused, requiring strong field presence, technical judgment, and strict adherence to safety, quality, and execution standards.
You can expect to act as the primary interface with contractors, ensuring mechanical activities—static equipment, rotating machinery, and piping—are executed in line with the approved programme, technical documentation, and applicable standards. Early detection of deviations, enforcement of corrective actions, and continuous monitoring of work quality are central to the role.

- On‑site supervision of mechanical works (static equipment, rotating machinery, and piping) during shutdowns and projects
- Daily coordination with contractors, verifying work execution against schedule, drawings, and standards
- Management of work permits as requester, ensuring full alignment with site safety systems and procedures
- Continuous inspection of works in progress, early identification of deviations, and enforcement of corrective actions
- Monitoring and validation of installation measurements and units of work
- Active support to Safety Coordination and participation in the site Prevention Programme
- Witnessing of tests and inspections in accordance with the approved quality plan
- Review of contractor quality procedures and verification of compliance with applicable standards
