At Chain IQ, your ideas move fast.
Chain IQ is a global AI-driven Procurement Service Partner, headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, with operations across main centers and 16 offices worldwide. We provide tailored, end-to-end procurement solutions that enable transformation, drive scalability, and deliver substantial reductions in our clients' indirect spend. Our culture is built on innovation, entrepreneurship, ownership, and impact. Here, your voice matters - bold thinking is encouraged, and action follows ambition.
We are transforming from a services-heavy organization into a modern software and automation-driven platform company. This role owns the internal technology environment that enables that transformation. You will design and operate the systems that employees rely on every day, while eliminating unnecessary friction, manual work, and legacy IT patterns.
This is not a support-only role. You treat internal technology as a product, with clear standards, automation, and user experience at the centre. Your goal is to give teams fast, secure access to what they need, without slowing them down.
Responsibilities
Own the internal technology landscape including identity, devices, collaboration tools and internal infrastructure
Design a modern, secure digital workplace with strong defaults and minimal manual intervention
Establish self-service access models for users, teams and environments
Manage endpoint strategy across identity, device compliance, security posture and lifecycle
Own internal SaaS tooling selection, standardization and lifecycle management
Align internal identity and access models with platform and security architecture
Build automation for onboarding, role changes and offboarding
Partner with Security, CloudOps and Platform teams to ensure consistent controls
Replace legacy IT processes with policy-driven workflows
Provide clear service ownership, reliability expectations and escalation paths
What you will work with
Identity and access platforms including directory services and SSO
Device management, endpoint security and compliance tooling
Collaboration and productivity platforms
SaaS application governance and access controls
Internal network and connectivity patterns
Automation and policy engines for access and provisioning
Vendor and contract management for internal technology services
Requirements
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate in a global work environment
Experience owning internal IT or digital workplace functions in a modern tech organization
Strong understanding of identity, access and device management in cloud-native environments
Proven ability to replace manual processes with automated, policy-driven workflows
Comfort working closely with security and engineering teams
Ability to balance usability with security and compliance
Clear communication and strong stakeholder management skills
Pragmatic mindset focused on outcomes, not process for its own sake
Why this role matters
As the company scales and introduces more automation and intelligent systems, internal technology becomes a force multiplier. Employees need fast, secure, and predictable access to tools and data. Security needs consistent enforcement without blocking work. The role ensures the organization can grow, move quickly, and remain secure without falling back into legacy IT patterns.
