Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant – Lisbon , lourinha
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated person to join our restaurant team in Lisbon.
The main role will be Dishwasher, but this is much more than a traditional dishwasher position. We are looking for someone with the right attitude who wants to learn, develop and grow within the restaurant industry.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in both the back of house and front of house, depending on their skills, experience and willingness to learn.
Main Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, glasses, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Keeping the kitchen, dishwashing area and storage areas clean and organised
- Supporting the kitchen team with basic preparation and cleaning duties
- Helping kitchen staff when required
- Assisting with general restaurant operations
- Supporting the front-of-house team when necessary
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food-safety practices
- Helping the team during busy service periods
- Following instructions from the kitchen and restaurant management
Experience We Are Looking For
Previous experience working in a restaurant environment is highly preferred.
Experience in any of the following roles would be an advantage:
- Dishwasher
- Kitchen Assistant
- Kitchen Helper
- Commis / Junior Kitchen Staff
- Busser / Busboy
- Runner
- Front-of-House Assistant
You do not need to have experience in every area. What matters most is that you are hardworking, responsible, willing to learn and comfortable working as part of a busy restaurant team.
