The Opportunity
As part of EY Portugal’s Innovation team, you will play a key role in driving the internal adoption and enablement of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on Microsoft 365 Copilot and generative AI solutions.
You will contribute to designing and implementing initiatives that enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support the digital transformation of EY teams. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with different business areas, helping shape the future of how we work through innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, prototyping and development of AI and automation proof-of-concepts using tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Platform and other generative AI solutions.
- Contribute to the AI Factory by helping identify, structure and develop internal use cases with clear business value.
- Support the creation, configuration, testing and continuous improvement of AI agents, automation workflows, prompts, knowledge bases and internal enablement tools.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, helping bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Support internal AI Enablement initiatives, including the maintenance and evolution of tools, assets, documentation and best practices.
- Participate in prompt engineering, use case development, low-to-medium complexity AI agent creation and workflow automation.
- Monitor and analyze adoption, usage and impact data, including dashboards, productivity insights, user feedback and improvement opportunities.
- Develop clear documentation, training materials, communication assets and practical guidance to support the adoption of AI and automation tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify adoption challenges, process improvement opportunities and potential use cases for AI and automation.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, automation and digital workplace technologies, bringing relevant insights to the team.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- Strong interest and/or experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, technology enablement or innovation.
- Functional understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Platform or similar tools.
- Ability to prototype, test and iterate solutions in a practical and hands-on way.
- Basic understanding of AI architecture concepts, including AI agents, prompts, knowledge bases, workflows, integrations and data sources.
- Consulting mindset, with the ability to understand business challenges, structure problems and translate them into practical solutions.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, business-oriented language for different audiences.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail and results orientation.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to prepare clear presentations, reports and internal deliverables.
- Curiosity, autonomy and willingness to continuously learn about emerging AI and automation trends.
- Team spirit, proactivity and adaptability in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- 2–5 years of professional experience in consulting, digital transformation, technology, automation, AI, data, innovation or related areas.
- Previous experience in consulting or advisory environments, ideally with exposure to business transformation, technology enablement, innovation or process improvement projects.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Management, Economics or a related field.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, with interest or experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Platform or generative AI solutions.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical technology-enabled solutions.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, workflow automation or AI-enabled productivity tools.
- Exposure to Power Platform, Power Apps, Dataverse, Azure AI, SharePoint or Microsoft Teams integrations.
- Experience developing or supporting AI agents, chatbots, automations or internal digital tools.
- Experience preparing business cases, use case documentation, adoption plans or innovation deliverables.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, GenAI governance, AI adoption or AI maturity assessment frameworks.
