We are seeking an HSE Engineer / Coordinator to strengthen our production plant in Abrantes, Portugal.

Your core responsibilities include:

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) at a corporate level

Ensure process standardization and alignment with internal standards

Act as a point of contact between local teams and the central structure

Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

Participate in internal and external audits, following up on action plans
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including training, incident management, and KPI analysis
Profile and Qualifications:

Certified Occupational Health and Safety Technician (Professional Certification – TSST - Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho) aprovado pela Lei n.º 102/2009

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in HSE roles, ideally in a multinational environment

Experience with integrated management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001) & (OSHAS 18001, ISO 9001)

Exposure to operational environments and corporate settings

Experience in the automotive industrial sector (preferred)

Ability to work autonomously and in dynamic environments

Fluency in English (mandatory)
