For our Vila Joya Sea Kitchen we are looking for personable, passionate and driven Chef de Partie specialized in Asian Cuisine Responsibilities -Execute mise en place and ensure all preparations are timely and flawless -Ensure and maintain precision, consistency and attention to detail in every dish -Handle raw fish and premium ingredients, ensuring top quality and strict adherence to health and safety standards -Collaborate with Chefs and team to ensure smooth service flow and communication -Adapt to guest requests and dietary needs -Support a culture of excellence, teamwork and continuous development within the kitchen team -Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station
Requirements and skills Our ideal candidate must possess: -Fluent in English, Portuguese is a plus -Experience in fine dining, preferably in high end Asian cuisine -Strong knowledge of Asian culinary techniques -Skilled in handling and presenting raw fish and premium ingredients, ensuring quality and freshness. -In-depth understanding of Japanese ingredients and seasonality -Passionate about Asian Cuisine and a commitment to delivering an authentic dining experience -Strong understanding of kitchen operations, mise en place and service flow -Attention to detail in designing and executing presentations of dishes -Highly organized with the ability to mulitask and manage time effectively -Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team -Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy environment -Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety standards specific to handling raw fish and other delicate ingredients -Dedication to continuous learning and professional development in the culinary arts
