The Logistics Manager – Homeware will be responsible for the end-to-end management of logistics operations for Fashion Clinic’s Homeware business, while also providing logistics support to House of Capricorn’s wholesale channel. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, on-time delivery, and excellence in customer service across both B2C and B2B channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the courier, ensuring efficient deliveries and collections;
- Manage transportation requests and quotations for:
- Retail customers (B2C);
- Wholesale customers (B2B);
- Manage transportation requests for collections from domestic and international suppliers;
- Coordinate and monitor supplier collection requests, ensuring compliance and adherence to deadlines;
- Manage customs clearance processes for goods received from suppliers, liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers;
- Develop, monitor, and analyze transportation performance indicators, with a focus on costs, efficiency, and service levels;
- Create Purchase Orders (POs) and validate transportation invoices, ensuring administrative accuracy and financial control;
- Collaborate with internal teams (purchasing, sales, stores, and finance) to ensure operational alignment;
- Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred);
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in similar roles, ideally within retail, homeware, or wholesale environments;
- Strong knowledge of transportation, distribution, and import/customs clearance processes;
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in developing and monitoring logistics KPIs;
- High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when dealing with suppliers and logistics partners;
- Proficiency in IT tools (Excel and ERP systems are considered an advantage);
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
