Finance & Operations Assistant
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative operations of our growing company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, keeping things organized, and ensuring that processes run smoothly. You'll work across finance, administration, reporting, and customer support, helping maintain accurate records while contributing to the continuous improvement of our internal operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Administration
- Maintain accurate records of company income, expenses, and financial transactions.
- Process, verify, and organize invoices and supporting documentation.
- Prepare payment files for upload to online banking platforms.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Maintain well-organized digital financial records and documentation.
- Prepare financial information and supporting documents for accountants and internal stakeholders.
- Help ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
2. Reporting
- Update recurring financial and operational reports.
- Maintain revenue, expense, and budget tracking spreadsheets.
- Monitor data accuracy and flag discrepancies when identified.
- Support the preparation of internal reports and business insights.
3. Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries via email in a professional and timely manner.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications.
- Help ensure a positive customer experience through clear and efficient communication.
4. Operations & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business.
- Organize and maintain internal documentation and digital files.
- Coordinate routine operational tasks and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and workflows.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles.
- Familiarity with invoices, financial documentation, and bank reconciliations.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and maintaining structured spreadsheets.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently.
