Join Euronext as a Business Operations Officer

We are looking for a Business Operations Officer to join the Euronext Lisbon team. The position will be based in Lisbon and you will report to the CEO of Euronext Lisbon.
As part of our Institutional functions team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of Euronext’s markets by supporting trading, compliance and corporate actions for listed companies. Working closely with regulators and market participants, we maintain transparency and effective governance. Join us to make a real impact at the heart of capital markets.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Providing executive, administrative and development support to the CEO and Board, including day-to-day office management
- Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to the CEO and Board
- Managing an active calendar of meetings and appointments, arranging complex travel plans and preparing confidential correspondence
- Supporting the CEO and Board with research, background materials and presentations for internal and external meetings
- Collaborating on local promotional events and strategic initiatives, including preparation of briefing materials and reports
- Handling procurement topics, completing expense reports and supporting general office operations
- Acting as a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments, ensuring effective follow-up on commitments
- Prioritising conflicting needs and following through on issues to successful completion, often under deadline pressure
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar
- Minimum three years of professional experience, ideally in the finance sector
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in Portuguese and English (French is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat and social media platforms
- Ability to work independently with discretion, handle confidential information and adapt to competing demands
- Problem-solving attitude, forward-looking thinker and proactive in proposing solutions
- Experience in internal and external communications is an advantage
