Working model: Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office | 2 days per week in the field
At Sage, we help businesses thrive. We’re looking for a Partner Account Manager (PAM) to own and grow relationships with a portfolio of Business Partners within the Small Market segment in Portugal.
This is a field-based commercial role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with partners on-site, building trusted relationships, shaping joint growth plans, and driving measurable commercial impact.
The role:
As a Partner Account Manager, you will own the end-to-end relationship between Sage and your partner portfolio. You’ll be responsible for driving partner performance, accelerating revenue growth, and ensuring partners are fully enabled, aligned, and accountable to Sage’s strategy and go-to-market priorities.
You will act as a trusted advisor, leading joint business planning, pipeline development, and execution across new customer acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell of Sage solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
Own and develop strategic relationships with an assigned portfolio of Business Partners
Act as the primary point of contact between Sage and partners, building long-term, trust-based relationships
Drive revenue growth across new logo acquisition and customer expansion
Lead regular partner cadences, pipeline reviews, and forecast management
Build and execute joint business plans aligned to Sage priorities
Enable and activate partners across campaigns, product launches, and GTM initiatives
Support partners in opportunity qualification and deal progression
Ensure accurate CRM usage, pipeline quality, and reporting
Act as the voice of the partner internally, sharing insights, identifying risks, and driving continuous improvement
Your first 90 days:
First 30 days – Learn & align
Build a strong understanding of Sage, the Small Market strategy, and your partner portfolio. Establish relationships, master tools and cadences, and develop a clear baseline of partner performance, risks, and opportunities.
First 60 days – Influence & execute
Begin leading partner cadences, managing pipeline and forecast quality, supporting priority deals, and shaping joint business plans. Start influencing partner focus and execution.
First 90 days – Own & deliver impact
Take full ownership of partner performance. Drive measurable pipeline and revenue results, proactively manage risks, and be recognised internally as the clear owner of your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Experience you’ll bring:
Must-have experience
Managing Business Partners, resellers, or indirect sales channels
B2B sales experience within SMB / Small Market environments
Hands-on pipeline management and CRM usage
Track record of delivering commercial targets or partner growth
Software & tools
CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
Excel and reporting tools for pipeline and performance tracking
Nice to have (can be trained)
Deep product or industry knowledge
Advanced forecasting or data analysis skills
Prior exposure to the Sage portfolio
