At Fluxys Byte it, our mission is to provide digital services to the Fluxys Group companies.

For our office located in Lisbon we’re looking for an People & Communication Officer (m/f/x).

Job purpose

We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented People & communication Officer to manage and continuously improve the employee lifecycle within our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering efficient HR processes, supporting employees and managers, and fostering a positive workplace culture. He/she will work closely together with the Head of Operations, Head of Finance & Admin and the office assistant.

Your responsibilities

People Operations

Manage and coordinate the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition; onboarding and integration; Performance Management process; Employee wellbeing initiatives; Learning and development activities and the offboarding process.
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and employee support.

Payroll Administration

Prepare and coordinate monthly payroll processing in collaboration with the Payroll provider.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll-related information.
Collaborate with group Comp & Ben on various topics (eg. Merit increase campaign, Performance management, …).
Maintain employee records and HR administration in compliance with both legal and group requirements.

Employment Administration & Policies

Draft, maintain, and administer employment contracts and related HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with labour legislation and group policies.
Support the development, implementation, and communication of People & Organization (P&O) policies and procedures.

Employer Branding

Contribute to employer branding initiatives in collaboration with the group Talent team.
Support recruitment branding activities to attract and retain talent.
Help promote the organization's culture, values, and employee value proposition.

Internal Communication & Team Engagement

Drive people-focused communication initiatives that strengthen transparency, collaboration, and organizational culture
Organize and coordinate team meetings, ensuring effective information flow, alignment, and engagement across the organization
Collaborate with various group teams to align with digital meeting formats and communication standards
Support employee engagement and team-building activities
Act as a key facilitator of internal communication, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross-functional engagement

About you

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience in a generalist HR, People Operations, or HR Business Partner role.
Profound knowledge of payroll processes and HR administration.
Familiarity with employment legislation and HR best practices.
Strong proficiency in IT tools
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proactive, hands-on, and capable of working independently.
Fluent in Portuguese and English; additional languages are an asset.
