We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Python and SQL skills to develop, operate and maintain data analytics applications within an AWS-based big data platform.
You will work across the complete delivery lifecycle—from architecture discussions and proofs of concept to production deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in data science who enjoys solving complex problems and contributing to a small, collaborative and dynamic team.

Develop end-to-end data analytics and processing capabilities on an AWS big data platform.

Participate actively in architectural discussions and help define the required data flows and processes.

Design and build proofs of concept.

Transform prototypes into reliable, production-ready solutions.

Test and deploy applications across development, quality assurance and production environments.

Monitor newly deployed solutions and perform debugging, maintenance and continuous improvements.

Document the developed features, processes and technical decisions.

Support data extraction activities and exploratory data analysis.

Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Contribute proactively to the continuous evolution of the data platform.

Professional experience with Python, particularly for data manipulation and processing.

Strong practical experience with SQL.

Experience in software development, troubleshooting and debugging.

Interest in data science and data analytics.

Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Fluent Portuguese.
