We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Planning Lead to join our team.
Reports to: Regional Planning Lead
Responsibilities:
- Develop bid programmes to support and compliment bid submissions
- Develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes and project controls procedures for live projects
- Work with Project Directors and site teams to develop and maintain effective Project Planning Strategies and Programmes
- Prepare and present progress reviews to senior management
- Business development activities with new clients
- Liaise with stakeholders to review progress of projects, supporting risk identification and proactive problem solving
- Create and maintain schedules for the pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases of specific projects as requested
- Establish and maintain project schedule resource requirements across all projects
- Develop and Communicate tools for the effective target completion of project goals
- Provide performance updates / reports for identification of variances and corrective actions
- Planning representative in Client & Subcontractor meetings
- Develop and coach the members of the planning team across projects and prioritise workloads, delegate appropriately and be an effective role model.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering / Construction Management required- 7+ years relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably main contractor experience
- Experienced in programming software and BIM - Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6 preferred
- Demonstrable experience in large-scale environments (project values €50 m +)
- Excellent organisational, communication, people and time management skills
- The ability to build robust relationships with clients, consultants, and suppliers
