ROLE SUMMARY:

PaRK International School, located in Alfragide, Lisbon, is part of the Inspired Education Group, a global network of over 70 premium schools across five continents. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior School Mathematics Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the PaRK IS Senior School curriculum, integrating the principles of the IGCSE and A Level programmes, and reflecting the school’s international and bilingual context.
Foster conceptual understanding and critical thinking, helping students connect mathematical knowledge to real-life applications.
Differentiate learning strategies to meet the varied needs, abilities, and learning styles of all students.
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress through regular formative and summative assessments, in line with school guidelines.
Encourage academic curiosity and independence, supporting students in developing confidence and problem-solving skills.
Contribute to the pastoral care and wellbeing of students, promoting a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure consistency, share best practices, and enhance interdisciplinary learning.
Engage actively in co-curricular and enrichment activities, reflecting PaRK IS’s holistic approach to education and Inspired’s values of academic excellence, creativity, and personal growth.
