Zoomguide is a fast-growing startup transforming how people explore cultural heritage through technology. Our platform combines AI, augmented reality, and digital accessibility, serving millions of visitors.
We move fast. We avoid red tape. We care about impact.
The Role
We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (Product-Focused) who thinks beyond code.
This is not a ticket-execution role.
You will work directly with the founder and the business team to shape product decisions, define architecture, and build features end-to-end.
We are a small, high-leverage team. You will co-own the entire technical direction. If you’re looking for layers of management, detailed PRDs, huge Jira backlogs or tightly scoped tasks, this is not the role. If you want ownership, speed, and meaningful product influence, keep reading.
What You’ll Do
- Build and ship features end-to-end (backend + frontend)
- Make architectural decisions
- Translate business goals into product and technical strategy
- Improve UX through engineering judgment
- Evaluate when and how AI should (or shouldn’t) be used
- Maintain a clean, scalable, pragmatic codebase
- Contribute to product thinking, not just implementation
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Strong full-stack engineering experience (Django and modern JavaScript frameworks required; Svelte experience valued)
- Proven architectural decision-making ability
- Product mindset (you question requirements, you don’t just implement them)
- Experience integrating AI into real products or strong understanding of applied AI trade-offs
- Fluency in English
Strong Plus
- Fluency in another European language such as French, Spanish, German, or Dutch
- Experience shipping cross-platform mobile apps (Capacitor or similar tooling)
- Experience interacting with customers
- History of measurable product impact
- Experience in startups or small, high-autonomy teams
- Ability to move fast without compromising quality
