Role Description: The Bartender Juice Bar role is an extended part-time (30 hours), on-site position based in Lisbon, Praça das Flores (Rato). The team member will prepare and serve cold-pressed juices and functional elixirs, ensuring high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Daily responsibilities include welcoming guests, explaining menu items and functional benefits, handling orders and payments, and maintaining a clean, organised bar area. The role also involves restocking ingredients, monitoring product quality, following food safety guidelines, and contributing to a positive, engaging atmosphere that reflects MOM’s focus on wellbeing and longevity.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and explain product benefits clearly.
- Hands-on experience in Food & Beverage environments, preferably in juice bars, cafés, or wellness-focused hospitality settings.
- Competence in Bartending techniques, including drink preparation, presentation, and bar organisation.
- Knowledge of or interest in functional ingredients (e.g., mushrooms, adaptogens, plant-based components) and wellness trends.
- Collaborative mindset, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Prior hospitality or bar experience is preferred; relevant training or certifications in food safety are an advantage.
- English & Portuguese speaker.
