Start of with the the team meeting known as "top 5". In this meeting we would start with a physical exercise "stretching", after we would go threw the problems and the goals achieved the day before. We would then start with the production according to "just in time" sequence.
During the day I would have to teach, substitute, operatives.Update quality, scrap, production and charts.
Attend meetings with the supervisor and production manager.
Any part with defect I would have to repair or scrap it if the case.
Also when ever a problem occurred with a machine I would have to try and solve or else call in the maintenance.
As we worked just in time we would have to be aware with the amount of parts in the buffer and be sure that they would be on time at the client, when ever we had a production problem.
PrósGood team, wonder ful to be with everyday.
ContrasThe pressure when ever we had a production problem.

I was let go on a point system violation. When I began work at the plant, I contracted the flu. things went far worser as my first two weeks came to an end. It was mandatory for an employee not management to work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. It was winter and my first in years. As I stated, I had just accepted the job. Working a hard job and getting rest was hard with a family. The first two weeks I had the flu, but later (because I wasn't allowed to plan time off) I also contracted bronchitis and pink eye in both eyes, by the time I had finished the 14th day at work, I was dragging my body around. I never lost pace nor let anyone down working as a Senior Maintenance Tech. As my counterpart would tell me every day at shift change, "You look like a dead man walking." With not being allowed to take time off and being a new job, I felt that the company would be sympathetic, seeing me in that state. Good luck with that, my friend told me. with family need events leading up to my dismissal I had pointed out as night shift SMT. My children were the last straw. The Bullet Co. School system required that students take a physical every year. I was notified in March about this. A deadline in April made it imperative for me to get this done or kids would be left out of their education for the year or until they pass the exam. I tried to schedule time off, a vacation day, and a friend to cover for me as I have done for the friend many times. All I needed was two hours off. It was a doc
Company needs a complete overall to survive longterm. On the office side of the building their is way too many employees who don't do anything at all, and try to reinvent processes on the floor that don't need changed. Quality is an absolute JOKE. Multiple times the plant manager and deputy manager has said to bypass our quality guidelines with a , "we will deal with it later attitude" Yet we are supposed to reinforce our employees with quality standards.
You will be lied to about the hours you will work and the amount of days you will work. I was hired on to work a specific set of hours, and within a week it was changed and was told we'll if you don't like it then you can go somewhere else.
UAP managers have their favoritism for sure, if you are a supervisor here and you don't get along with your UAP manager as a friend they will make your life miserable.
This is quite literally the only job I've had where I dreaded coming to work everyday because I knew the circus I would have to deal with every day that certainly wasn't worth the pay and 60+hours mandatory every week.
This company only cares about how they look to visitors coming in, no attention is given to anyone that works directly on the floor. If you work on the floor you are replaceable, and don't forget that.
You will be micro managed. You will be working multiple jobs at the same time that aren't your job title, (I hope you like being a production operator/gap leader because you will be doing that job along
No concern for the well being of employees and staggering mismanagement
Faurecia in Columbus, Indiana, is poorly managed and operates at a level of incompetence that is staggering. Their inability to schedule or plan is a determent to the equipment required to complete tasks, and more importantly, it’s employees health and well-being. Faurecia management does not seem to understand the basic concept that machinery (and people) cannot be run 24/7 without time for proper maintenance/downtime. This causes the equipment to fail DAILY, for hours at a time which in turn causes the employees to be unable to reach their goals thereby requiring them to work more hours. The management has absolutely no regard for any of their employee’s health or well being. They work months on end, 12 hours a day, with NO TIME OFF (not even Sunday). More than half of the employees exhibit behavior of chemical dependency, including management (which very recently was at least in part the cause of an employee severing fingers). Most employees are so exhausted they are in danger of making mistakes and potentially endangering themselves and others. The management doesn’t even have the common sense enough to know that you cannot allow over half of the employees take a week off at the same time, who all run the same shift and the same line without negitively impacting every shift and employee remaining. Then are upset and surprised when the remaining staff cannot meet their goals. The executive management at this company apparently do not understand that if you have happy, rest

Contrasno concern for the well being of their employees
Management is awful. Was told in our morning meetings that we all were replaceable. 12 hour days, sometimes telling a shift they have to work another half shift, so some days were 16 hours, minimum 5-6 days a week. That lasted about 8-9 months before I left. Was there for a couple years, and management did nothing to improve work environment. When mentioned, or safety problems shown, was told they would take care of it, then ignore it. Then they add senseless block offs so toy have to walk around or it makes your job harder. They refuse to listen to any improvement ideas, then complain about a problem that improvement idea would solve.
They add nonstop stress. There is a reason in the past year or so, thryve lost so many long time employees, some having 10-20 years seniority. They treat employees so awful, that they dont even have enough people to work whole shifts, constantly making people work 6 days a week by making our normal 4 day week, become 6 by making us from other shifts come in and work empty spots on other shifts.
Management is the biggest issue at this simpsonville plant.
HR is awful as well. Text, no answer, and half the time voicemail was full when I needed to get a hold of them. So you have to wait week or weeks to get an answer. Very unprofessional for an HR department.
The pay was decent enough, but when you get told thst they dont care about your family time, it doesnt matter to them. You just need to show up to work.

Excellente entreprise...

Firstly you must go through a very vigorous welding "course" to re-learn how to weld, even if you have 25 years experience the instructor will talk to you as though it is your first day at any job. If you make it past that, without walking out, your in for a surprise, at first it seems like a good place, you quickly learn it is a very bad working environment, For starters if your a welder, you won't weld until you learn how to kiss the "team leaders" a**. At first you will be a machine operator, they won't give you a chance to weld because of favoritism, next be prepared for a super human work pace environment, meaning you have to weld faster than any robot, the tolerance for the welds is very small, yet you only have seconds to perform miracles, physically it is impossible to accomplish what they want you to do, but the team leaders earn extra money to push you without crossing the abusive barrier. The work site is hot, very hot, they don't even give you a chance to stay cool or hydrated, you will work 3 hours non stop and then get a 10 min break. Also if you are early for work, you will be punished. You have to be there exactly at shift start, if you are early they will scream and yell at you, scold you in the office, and degrade and humiliate you so you understand you are nothing but a stupid welder. Be prepared to be treated like a dog. I would rather cut my hands off then go work there again for another minute. They are like a little click, if you don't conform to there

They don't care about your health or you yourself... I had 2days off in 6 weeks due too anxiety! And one day where I went in & had too go home due too anxiety... I then received a disciplinary hearing for this itself!!! I was told I could have another sick day off for the next 6 months! Or it could result in losing my position. I felt as if the supervisor and Gap leader were both on my case after that... They took me off moving boxes & couldn't find me a job do hoteme doing odd jobs here & there... I was told by few people be careful as they are sacking people as there not doing too great atm... The next day I forgot my steel toe cap boots & they sacked me!!!

Faurecia is the final client of NSIS (IT Service Company) which is my initial employer.
I started working in Faurecia since 2010 as external consultant to ensure support activity for more than 19000 SAP users all over the world.
I start my day at work by checking the emails and tickets assigned to my group. I have to keep an eye on tasks with high priority, especially, in month end closing.
Every day it's a new challenge as I have to provide always expert advice on SAP functionality and how to use the business processes
From this experience, I learned the best ways to solve the problems and how to make the ideas look simple for L2 by providing examples and screenshots. I learnt to be autonomous and to learn on the fly.
Regarding the management competencies, the continuous improvement in a multinational company is a must. We have to be up to date to the customer's new projects.
With my co-workers, we usually work with the approach of one team. We usually share the knowledge and self experiences with tickets analysis in some critical areas.
The hardest part of the job is the reactivity and the ability to work under initiative and under tight time pressures with little guidance.
We have to provide the solution just in time using all the ways (confcalls, work instructions, best practises ...)
The most enjoyable part of the job is the satisfaction of users after hard work of diagnose and analysis and the working environment that encourages innovation, creativity a
